Filipina Cevallos Schnabel, MD, MPH, DNP, FNP-BC, APRN
Dr. Pin Schnabel practiced as a laryngologist and O-HNS surgeon prior to becoming a nurse practitioner in the United States. She obtained her medical degree at the University of Santo Tomas, and her residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and Master of Public Health at the prestigious University of the Philippines in Manila, Philippines. She had her fellowship preceptorship at the Grabscheid Voice Center at Mount Sinai in New York. She obtained her Bachelors of Nursing at East Tennessee State University and graduated summa cum laude. She had her Masters of Science in Nursing Family Nurse Practitioner degree at Belmont University and was awarded Outstanding Alumni in 2022. She finished her Doctor of Nursing Practice at the University of Tennessee Health Sciences in 2021.
She is with the Division of Pediatric Otolaryngology and runs the Tongue Tie and the Infant Ear Molding clinics. She is also the Lead Director of the General O-HNS Advanced Practice Provider Fellowship Program. She was one of the nominees of the 2023 Patient and Family Choice Awards.
